Everyone makes decisions all the time: large and small, crucial and insignificant, immediate and long-term. Most of our decision-making is instinctive, based on gut feel and intuition. But some decisions demand more attention and care.
We’ve developed a structured way of addressing the decisions that really matter. These decisions are both risky and important, because:
- Their impact on strategic, or long-term operational objectives is significant;
- The decision context is complex, unstable or changing;
- Decision options involve significant risk, and choosing between them is not straightforward;
- There is no guarantee of commitment from people who need to support and implement the chosen outcome.
